This device is fine for charging an iPod in your car. Every now and then, our iPod turns up in the car juiceless. When that happens, we just pull out this device and plug it in, and within seconds, the iPod comes back to life. It looks and feels like cheap plastic, but it works as advertised, and we have had no problems with it after 6 months of use.
Along with the car charger adapter (which comes with a “roll-up” cord), I also bought the plug-in wall adapter, and the AV cable to watch ipod movies on TVs at the same time, from the same vendor. The whole deal, including shipping was under [...]. I saw a similar package at [...].
I gave it a 4 because the plastic covering appears cheap, and it seems to get warm after charging for a while, but it works great (also applies to the wall charger). For it’s price though, I could buy 10 or more of these before I spend as much as the Apple brand.
I thought this product looked cheap but the reviews were good, so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. It works great and actually charges quicker than my laptop and cord do.
