The accesory your are describing is an FM transmitter for the ipod that connects to the bottom of your ipod and broadcasts your ipod music to any fm frequency of your choice. These transmitters come with chargers, or at least mine did. I have a belkin transmitter its black small and it displays the frequency through my ipod And you can save a frequency or four. You can get one from at least 10-100 dollars, It depends on how flashy or how good the reception is. I got a 40 dollar transmitter and it works great, Good Luck
