Depends on your car, but one of those adapters that fits into the cassette slot work great in my car.

If you have a cassette player then you can use a cassette adapter; as stated in the above post. The sound isn’t perfect, but it is far, far better than an FM transmitter. FM transmitter sound quality is that of AM radio – it sucks.
The method that will give you the best possible sound is using one of the cables below. If you have the aux import in the front of your CD deck then you are in luck. Each cable costs no more than $10. Some CD decks have the aux import in the back, in which case you will need to research you CD deck online to see if it has rear aux input.
If you have a factory installed CD deck then you most likely don’t have any aux inputs.

if you dont have a tape deck then you can get a Beilkin TuneCast™ Mobile FM Transmitter (under 20 bucks at walmart.) if your antenna is in the back then get a 6ft mini stereo cable and toss the transmitter in your back seat. (under 5 bucks radio shack or walmart.)

are about 70 at Circuit city and has a Aux input in the front so you would just need a doubble sided mini stereo cable.
